I finally visited the restaurant here in 2011. The menu is decidedly 'international' and the food, while mostly well presented, did not really taste Egyptian. The thin rolls of bread were very fresh though, and still warm from the oven. Prices for food were high for the area, but drink prices were fairly normal. There is (steep ramp) wheelchair access to the ground floor, where there are a couple of bedrooms. Then a flight of 20 or so steps to the terrace. The views from the restaurant are good. In 2013 the views are being obstructed by other developments nearby, but one can still see across the Nile to Luxor Temple. Local Stella is L£12.50 and Sakara is L$15. The pizzas were good.
